Consolidated Works
This is a trendy gallery displaying all forms or contemporary artwork, including theatre, art, sculpture, music and film. A very quirky art gallery and well worth a look. 500 Boren Avenue N (206 860 5245)

Foster/White
Local artists works are displayed here in many forms, a highlight is the glass blowing and glass art. 123 S Jackson Street , Near Occidental Avenue (206 622 2833)

Frye Art Museum
The permanent collection mostly displays American and European artworks from the 19th and 20th Centuries. However the temporary exhibitions here are often vastly different and interesting. 704 Terry Avenue, Capitol Hill (206 622 9250)

Glasshouse Studio
You can watch the artists at work here as well as view some of the unique glass work on display here. 311 occidental Avenue S (206 682 9939)

Henry Art Gallery
This gallery has ever changing displays over several levels.The gallery uses high technology in some of it's displays and has many unusual and unexpected gallery exhibits, there is even an outdoor sculpture court. 15th Avenue (206 543 2280)

Seattle Art Museum
You will be awestruck by the 48foot sculpture of the Hammering Man at the entrance, it is only one of five such sculptures in the world. Then there are the galleries themselves that display , Native American, African, European and Asian art as well as a large display of regional modern art. 100 University St (206 654 3100)

Seattle Asian Art Museum
This gallery house one of the most extensive Asian art works outside of Asia. Here you can find art from all corners of Asia, including paintings, drawing, sculptures, Japanese scrolls and Chinese jade.1400 E Prospect St, Capitol Hill (206-654 3100)

Wright Exhibition Space
