Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market is a public market in Seattle. Opened on August 17, 1907, it is one of the oldest continually operated public farmers' markets in the United States and one of Seattle's most popular tourist destinations. The Market is built on the edge of a steep hill, and consists of several lower levels located below the main level. Hypermarkets Marketing Petroleum Products
Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, Kroger, Safeway and BJ's are operating gas stations. Wal-Mart has approximately 1,300 gasoline retail sites inclusive of Optima, Murphy and Mirastar. The addition of fuelling on site allows additional sales on the property, which might have been underutilised parking spaces. Hypermarkets are hoping that motor fuels sales can lure more customers into their stores by offering discounted motor fuels prices, particularly upon opening fuelling facilities.
