Seattle is a city that isn't known for being a huge tourist attraction like some other big cities in America. It is however, highly underrated as far as a vacation destination goes. Seattle is located in the Pacific Northwest and is home to some major companies such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Starbucks, and Amazon.com. While there aren't as many big name attractions in Seattle as other big cities, it does have very nice scenery, among other interesting tourist destinations such as the space needle and Mount Rainier. If you are looking for something to do while visiting Seattle consider checking out a tour of Boeing's factory. Boeing, (for those of you who don't know) is the leader in aircraft manufacturing and manufactures almost all commercial planes.
You can also spend a day examining the wonder of Mt. Rainier. Mount Rainier is a mountain that stands above the rest of the Rockies surrounding Seattle. It has a crisp cool air to it and is a must see for any traveller interested in seeing the wonders that Mother Nature has for us. You can also go check out some of the water falls that Seattle has. Along with all these wonders of nature, you don't want to miss the chance to check out the urban part of Seattle. Whether it is a day trip through Seattle, or a Cruise around the harbor to show you Seattle's beautiful waterfront downtown while having a romantic dinner or lunch with someone special. Speaking of water you should also see the Seattle locks system. The locks system is an impressive show of human engineering and design. Perhaps Seattle's biggest tourist attraction along with the space needle is the Pike Place Market which offers tourists a firsthand look at Seattle's most famous culinary landmark. Take a walking tour through the market and get a sense of old Seattle. While Seattle may not carry a big name as a tourist destination yet, it is growing in popularity with all tourists.
